When you can have a family barbecue in the garden (ensuring you extinguish the kids before allowing them back in the house) & the sun's still shining at 10.00 pm. Know what I hate? This time of year, when it's dark at 7.30. Within weeks it will be dark when we wake up & dark again at 4.30 pm. Those of you in Florida or California, care to adopt a talented but penniless writer & his family?
