Boston could absolutely use this. I used to want the Green A to come back but I'm pretty sure the combined green line tunnels couldn't handle the extra traffic, so alas I am back on the "leave the A closed" train. Instead we should run *more* trains up and down the Pike -- it's commuter rail now, but mostly runs the way the A did and is frankly really underused and could support Red Line style service reasonably enough.
