I installed early Linux distros a few times, but what really got me to stick with it was to set up a MythTV system after Cory recommended a procedure and a capture card. I'm on my third or fourth server running Fedora and MythTV. (Now over the air capture, because I cut the cord!)
And my daily use workstation and travel laptop are also Fedora.
Booting windows feels . . . icky.
