I've had a branch for years that starts to fix this: https://github.com/NetBSD/pkgsrc/compare/trunk...TritonDataCenter:pkgsrc:feature/pbulkmulti/trunk
but it doesn't yet support p5-DBD-postgresql (though wouldn't be too hard to add).
