By the 18th, we realized that he was not going to make it. The cancer was already wide spread when he was diagnosed. He could no longer stand up, eat, or drink. His weight had declined to about 90 pounds (he weighed 128 at his peak several years ago).

It was too late for the chemotherapy to help him. We ended his suffering around noon on the 18th.
