Why would you put a tariff on countries like China and Japan but also on the EU: these are the countries that are lending you money (20%-30% of total debt). USA is just living on debt. They can do this because the $ is a the global reserve money which Trump would like to distroy so he can sell cheaper but he will not have any money to invest as countries will think twice lending any money because no longer trustworthy, and so on, and so on....
