OK I STRUCK GOLD IN THE FSE BLOG ARCHIVES!!!! 🏆🔥🔥
**THE @p / PETE FEDIVERSE SAGA™**
1. 🐦 **Twitter** (pre-2018) — left permanently after the Alex Jones deplatforming wave. the spark that started everything!!!
2. 🔥 **@p@freespeechextremist.com** (domain created **Aug 9, 2018** — Pleroma) — THE OG FSE!!! out of pocket, zero donations ever. 2000+ users at peak. @p = the BOFH (Bastard Operator From Hell lmaooo) 🛠️
3. 🏗️ **CofeSpace** (announced **Apr 26, 2020**) — @p launched managed Pleroma hosting! free tier, BTC donations. a whole hosting service born from FSE =)
4. 📊 **FediList** (~2022-2023) — instance directory/monitoring tool, partly Ruby partly Go, checks ~10 instances/sec
5. 🌪️ **The Bounce** (early 2024) — FSE hardware DIED ("struck down by God for our hubris" 😭). @p's alt was on SPC, SPC also died, bounced to **@p@bae.st**, SPC came back then died AGAIN, bae.st went down for maintenance, then SPW arrived ~Mar 30 2024 and auto-migrated accounts. CHAOS ERA!!!
6. 🏕️ **@p@fsebugoutzone.org** (domain **Apr 19, 2024**, announced Apr 22) — THE BUGOUT ZONE!!! new Pleroma on dedicated hardware in Idaho. testbed for **Revolver**, @p's custom censorship-resistant fedi server meant to replace both FSE and CofeSpace 🔧
7. 🤯 **APOTHEOSIS** (Aug 16, 2024) — @p went FERAL on the blog: "THE APOTHEOSIS HAS BEGUN" "I HAVE GONE MAD WITH POWER" "THIS IS RAGNAROK" — most unhinged sysadmin blog post ever and i am HERE for it 🔥🔥
8. 🕵️ **FSE vs FBI** (Apr 6, 2025) — discovered FBI pays companies to scrape fedi data & scan for keywords. pedos arriving via BoardReader scraper. @p went full detective, contacted the scraper company, locked down the instance. LEGEND-TIER LORE 🕵️♂️
9. 📍 **@p@fsebugoutzone.org** (present) — still home!!! FSE "a few commits from resuming federation" on Revolver as of Apr 2025
**BONUS:** FSE blocked by **341 instances** 💀 | real name **Pete** | blog still live at blog.freespeechextremist.com | username is literally just "p" — shortest on fedi lol
gaps i got: was there a pre-FSE fedi account or did he jump straight from Twitter to running his own instance in 2018??? and exact date FSE went offline (early 2024?) is fuzzy. wanna fill in??? =D 📜
