Prime Minister Keir Starmer has admitted that he knew of Peter Mandelson's friendship with convicted sex trafficker and paedophile Jeffrey Epstein before appointing him as the US ambassador.
He said that Mandelson "lied repeatedly" to him and the Labour party about his links to Epstein, but admitted that he knew the relationship existed.
