Considering whom I would like to nominate for the Scheme Steering Committee and noticing again how, even by the standards of tech, Scheme has a truly terrible level of participation by women.
I’m reasonably certain that the only women in the acknowledgements section of Scheme reports – at least those who identified as women at the time of publication – were Betty Dexter, who typeset RRRS in TeX, and Julie Sussman, whose contribution to SICP is also often overlooked.
