And I am home from the hospital. Got a bunch of meds to take for the next couple weeks. Got followups scheduled or being scheduled. Pain is manageable. And I can eat (soft) food now.
Final consensus was it was an abnormal presentation of diverticulitis. My white blood cell count when I arrived at the ER was over 26,000 and that was not good at all. I had a severe reaction to an IV antibiotic yesterday and that was not fun.
All in all, not a good week so far.
