I was regailed last night with tales of the trump administration threatening the people of their own country yet again. Apparently several states were sent letters saying that specific counties had to recertify all participants in SNAP in something under 20 days or face losing all federal funding for those programs for the state.
All participants, in person, more than thirty thousand people in under 20 days is not physically possible of course. In my opinion they hit us in particular because of Jason Crow (rep) and Tina Peters (lying fascist election tampering asshole in state prison for her crimes).
One is revenge for legitimately bringing impeachment charges against a criminal, the other is trying to protect one of the criminals responsible for election tampering. trump wants to pardon Peters but he can't become they are state level crimes and she's in state custody.
And the unit of attack is the poorest people in the county, these folks already have to recertify, in person ever 6 months. It's a bad faith excuse to attack political enemies and I hope that the injunction is obtained by our AG before anyone does any work to try to address a bad faith order.
