I can't help but recall back to high school math, asking the teacher when we'd use some of the algebra stuff like matrix multiplication.
I know it was the early 2000's, but why couldn't she just SAY that it's the basis of neural networks and will be ubiquitous in 20 years?
Now I'm relearning all the stuff I barely slogged through...
But really, while I found uses for a lot of other algebra before, I didn't really think the matrices were gonna come back. Just when you think you've ESCAPED the matrix...
