I mean I kinda get it if he believed her story, that she was temporarily insane coincidentally just after she told him to leave the house and left the children unguarded. At least he divorced her, albeit too late for it to have mattered. I don't buy the story personally because there's no evidence for it, if you're legally insane you don't pre-plan shit to make sure it works/avoid consequences you are beyond that. It seemed pretty intentional to me, but I don't think she failed the suicide intentionally.
I just hate everyone involved tbh, she's sat there like "I want to kill my kids I hear voices." and nobody takes the kids away? Not one person? Not just "Waah wah guvmint should've taken care of it for us", those ex grandparents who raised that money didn't give a shit. The husband didn't go "Shit I better take the kids and let her chimp out solo"? HE LEFT THE KIDS ALONE WITH HER. She didn't remove herself from the equation and go on an emergency vacation? Like ffs this was so avoidable, just help her finish the botched suicide and move on already.
