Convenience won't kill Bitcoin. It'll build it. The real threat is custody-by-default wrapped in a smooth interface. A Lightning wallet that looks easy but holds your keys is fine. One that looks easy and holds them for you is not. The question is whether good UX defaults to self-custody or not.
