It is interesting that Labour has decided to attack the Greens on drugs. To anybody under 50 in England at least, decriminalisation of drugs is common sense.
In the mid to late nineties there was a big push back on the war on drugs. It is not so prevalent now but, I think, that is because the argument has been won. I don't know anyone who thinks, 'drugs are bad m'okay'. It seems a weird US right wing obsession.
I can't see how it is a sensible election strategy. It makes the Greens look like the grown ups and Labour look reactionary. I'm surprised it is not Reform policy to decriminalise drugs, bloody nanny state etc, etc. Perhaps my understanding of my neighbours is wrong
