Today I had surgery to receive an Osia OSI3000 implant against my skull that, coupled next month with a sound processor, will give me much improved hearing on my left side, which was ruined when I was 8 due to a mastoidectomy to remove an infection. I'm doing fine. The surgery went great, and I hope to write up my experiences to hopefully help others.
More importantly than any of that I can now, recklessly and without impunity, use the word "clank."
