The official process to attempt to strip Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor of their Israeli citizenship has begun. I don't know how much of this will really go somewhere vs. how much of this is just an election year stunt.
What I do know is that the mainstream so-called "Opposition" politicians in Israel have not said a word about this. Not while the family homes of Abraham and Szor have been vandalized, nor when their lives threatened on Channel 14 (Israel's equivalent to Fox News) The only public support Abraham and Szor have received has come from fellow filmmakers and some journalists.
Not a great feeling to see born-and-raised Israelis' citizenship being potentially stripped as someone who has a less secure visa status but thinks that NAZA will go down as an incredibly important documentation of war crimes and genocide in Gaza from the perspective of the perpetrators.
