I think the bosses will figure it out. AI slop-code seems to be making a lot of products worse. AI coding has it’s place, but needs serious oversight from a capable, real code-monkey. From an electrical engineering perspective, it’s been great for making people who only know enough to be dangerous make some pretty useful tools that take some of the weight off an already overstretched team. I’m sure it will bite is, but not today.
