TBH this looks like the start of a Safeguarding referral - someone born in 1986 would be 40 today, usually their kid would be a bit older - unless he didn't take precautions and this one was unplanned or already has stepchildren and wanted "one of his own" to avoid feeling cuckolded - definitely shows some "interesting" family dynamics..
