Yes.
It started as a means to an end - to avoid suffering the "delights" of watching virtually every soap opera on TV with my ex.
Now, it's fun to do, therapeutic in so many ways, and I actually like the results (mostly) when I write something.
Horror makes me shiver.
SciFi/Fantasy takes me to other worlds/realms.
Poetry makes me feel romantic / whimsical / philosophical / etc.
