In US public debate, MAGA followers believers are described as having fallen for a cult. And it is indeed a cult, but public discourse is missing something here a great deal of Americans now that especially evangelicals are raised with authoritarian and physically spiritually and emotionally abusive child bearing practices. Their spirits were broken as infant and children they conform and don’t know anything else.
This is altogether a completely different problem
