We recorded the bats by plugging the pico into a linux laptop. The command line was something like:
arecord -f S16_LE -c1 -r384000 -t wav -D "dsnoop:CARD=B2000,DEV=0" bat1.wav
...where the "dsnoop:CARD..." stuff came from running "arecord -L" and looking for the most plausible looking sound card.
