A person in one of my social circles is dead. Sadness, of course, for the people who loved him.
I was horrified to find out that this man had sexually assaulted a friend of mine years ago. She never talked about it (to me anyway).
I hate that it's up to the person who was assaulted to spread the word, in this fucked up society of ours. Why should they have to deal with all of it over and over, rather than being believed and supported, and the offenders shunned?
