My brother works in "environmental consulting". A few years ago he took a job in a tech company, that does carbon accounting. So I gave the pessimistic advice:
"It'll be fun for a while. Enjoy it, but be prepared because venture capital funding means it'll most likely fail"
They're announcing the winding down today 😞
But apparently they would've made the next funding round were it not for the decline in customers since Trump. Corporate responsibility towards CO₂ emissions went out of fashion 😖
