This was Clarence. One day my husband had gone to a vet's office in order to get some medicine and came back with this cat. He was badly hurt. In front of the vet's office - which was closed, too - my husband had met a guy with his son, both not local but here for some working stuff, who wanted to get Clarence treated after they found him on a road, half unconscious. But the vet's was closed and they had no time ... My hb jumped in, took him to our usual vet who diagnosed him with a broken hip and some scratches. She advised against operation, so he brought him home. Our other cats were not impressed, but we managed. Much to our relief he was able to pass stool and urine (the vet had said, if yes, he would heal probably). He recovered. Due to the bad mood of our lady cats he slowly, slowly moved out, we mostly saw him at the corner beside the shawarma shop - they fed him, too. One winter he stayed again at the house, later we saw him in the souk close by for a while. Then he disappeared. I hope someone picked him up and gave him a home, he was a real sweet guy.
